WESTERPARK
AMSTERDAM

20 medium sized apartments

Since the early 1980’s, the Westerpark and its adjacent cultural park Westergasfabriek – named after the gas plant that arose there in 1885 – have been developed into one of the city’s most important recreational areas by the municipality of Amsterdam. The spacious park, designed by Kathryn Gustafson, offers a diversity of multifunctional green areas that are frequently used for sports and leisure. In the numerous historic buildings and accompanying outside spaces, which form the equally extensive Westergasfabriekterrein, a wide range of cultural events are programmed; from art to pop music and from food to film.

In this bustling yet lovely spacious and green context, welcoming all citizens of Amsterdam, REB has created approximately twenty medium-sized apartments that together form a complex. Finding a greater place to live will be practically impossible.
